ASH, the biggest hematology conference in the world, started a few hours ago in Atlanta (Georgia, US). A team of the Patient Empowerment Foundation (PEF), including his founder and Board Chair Andrew Schorr (@AndrewSchorr), are at the conference gathering the latest news for blood cancer patients. Andrew and team will be interviewing top hematologist/oncologists from around the world to get updates on various types of blood cancer, including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia and other blood cancer diseases. Andrew Schorr and his wife Esther will be offering daily wrap-ups from ASH with the highlights of the day. You can watch them live registering at Patient Power’s site, our partners in this conference.
More and more doctors who attend ASH are using social media to communicate and to comment on the news presented. Twitter is a great tool to follow the conference online. You can see the tweets done by the participants at the official hashtag: #ASH17. You might also want to follow the official Twitter handle of the American Society of Hematology, the organizers of the conference: @ASH_hematology.
